About the Internship

As a Product Design Intern in our Home Decoration Department, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of exquisite crystal figurines that reflect our commitment to artistry and innovation. Working closely with our talented design team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in the world of product design. You will be immersed in the creative process of developing crystal home figurines, from concept ideation to prototyping and production.

Your responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

Learn to sculpt 3D models and transform a smooth sculpted 3D character, ornament or decoration into a faceted final product, in order to create our unique cut crystal sparkling figurines and ornaments.
Learn to separate a human body or animal body into parts, such as head, arms, hips, legs, knees and feet according to the best production cost optimization, in order to prepare any 3D data to become a producible crystal part.
Collaborate and work closely with the following teams: Design, Product Development, Sourcing, Product Marketing, and Prototyping (internal & external).
The Internship is offered for 3 to 6 months in 2024.

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

You are a student enrolled in a university or HTL.
You have a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of proportions and anatomy.
You have first experience in physical and digital sculpting.
You are a self-motivated and creative team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to work and the ability to meet project deadlines.
You speaks fluent English (German is a plus).
